1st post on this forum so I apologize if this has been discussed to death already, but I have a 20-inch IMAC I bought in April 2009 (I'm' guessing this qualifies as an "early 2009" model).
Under the about mac section, it says the model identifier is IMAC 8,1. Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.4 GHZ. I just have the stock RAM of 1GB in one of my memory slots and the other slot is empty.
Recently, my computer has become so out-of-date due to the lack of RAM preventing from upgrading to the latest mac OS and new Safari version, etc. I've been doing some research and it seems that I can fix this problem by upgrading the RAM. Could you all tell me if the RAM in the link below would work for my computer? Based on my research, it seems that it would, but I wanted to consult some people who are more knowledgeable than me, before I proceed.
