Hi all,

I was wondering whether it would be possible to make Mail on Mac automatically 'Synchronize All Accounts' instead of 'Get All New Mail'?

This is because I use an iPad and an iPhone for emails a lot and therefore I put a lot of emails into different folders, mailboxes, etc. and so would need Mail on Mac to automatically 'Synchronize All Accounts' instead of 'Get All New Mail'.

Could I use Terminal or a key command or something like that?

Thanks!

Are you using a POP3 or an IMAP email account? If IMAP... it should be doing syncing everything automatically.

POP3 is quite obsolete, but most old email accounts will let you switch to IMAP. If not... then it is time to switch providers.

Am using Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. All are reportedly on IMAP.
