I've been in the market for a wireless headset I can use with all of my consoles and my TV. This isn't a necessity so I am keeping my budget around $100 or $150 at the max. After doing some looking around I narrowed it down to the Turtle Beach PX4. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a limited amount of answers on the internet about some of the specifics and I hate to buy them hook them up and then have to return them. If anyone is familiar with this headset or another Turtle Beach headset I would love some help.
Instead of connecting the digital audio out from the console to the wi-fi transmitter can I just use the digital audio out on my TV? Will this allow sound from any source to play through the headset? Is the USB cable connected to the wi-fi transmitter strictly for power? Or does it have to be connected to the console that is currently being used?
