macOS Connecting TFT to MacBook Pro

Hi,


I'm trying to connect a TFT screen to my macbook pro via USB and have the notifications/today part (that appears when you swipe two fingers from right to left) appear on that screen.

What I've figured out is that I need a microcontroller, a driver, and the code to perform this task.

Does anyone know where I can start ? Any good tutorials on the subject maybe ?
