Hello All,

so I live in Denmark and my flat comes with a full cable TV package (yousee.dk). My landlord provided a crappy TV which is pretty old and gets a lot of interference. Using a SCART-HDMI convertor I can stream live (UK/US) TV through the old TV and it works fine (picture and sound stable through video channel, unstable on all others). As i have yousee.dk, I would like to make use of it (i'm paying for it, so I want to use it). So my question is, is it possible to watch the cable TV through the macbook, or use a combination of DVB-C and Raspberry pi?

Hope someone out there has some suggestions!

OK so read a little bit more about the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid. there is limited info other than it saying it will work with DVB-C. Does anyone know if it will only view freeview, or if it will still give me the full channel package which comes through the antenna?
