I keep getting the BSOD when installing the bootcamp drivers on windows 7 (with SP1). The only solution I read was to install a windows version without SP1 but I don't have that option so what else can I do? Also if all else fails, is it okay to run windows on my computer without the bootcamp drivers installed? I really don't want to have to reinstall windows, as I have already done it twice.

You can run Windows without the Boot Camp software installed but it may cripple the functionality especially that of the Apple specific hardware like the backlit keyboard, trackpad, and FaceTime camera. I am having no issues installing or running Windows 7 SP1. Perhaps you downloaded the wrong or corrupted Boot Camp software.
