Hi, i have dropped my Iphone 6 plus, the lcd screen is in perfect condition, just the glass that is cracked. I do not want to be paying the ridiculous fee that Apple charge at £106.44 so for a piece of glass. I was wondering if anybody could come up with a solution to get the screen fixed at a cheaper price.
Thanks
Jamie

At the iPhone hacks section.
The glass, lcd and digitizer is all fused together in one piece.
You cant separate just the glass piece and glue a new one back on.
You will have to pay the price or get a cheaper chinese knockoff screen online for less but it might not work as good as the original and your warranty will be void.
Up to you.

I'd strongly suggest going through Apple.

Also perhaps Look at home insurance cover or some Bank Accounts also offer mobile phone cover.

Check T&C and Excess Fees.

If it's not a massively noticeable crack then perhaps think about affixing a glass tempered screen over it.
