For all you non-US folks, here's an article on American football. American football is totally different from the kind of football you play - we call that sport soccer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football

Anyways, so this Sunday we had the NFC and AFC championships. For the NFC championships, the New England Patriots defeated the Indianapolis Colts. Apparently, they played using footballs that did not meet NFL's pressure requirement. However, according to a source, officials did check the pressure of the footballs before the game. A commenter suggested that the officials may have tested the balls in an environment that was significantly warmer than the air in the football field.
