Some years back, I came into some extra cash and bought a Mac Pro 2,1 loaded with 4T disk drives, a huge Cinema display, and as much hardware as I could afford.
I still use it every day, but no longer for video editing or overly complicated rendering. It runs 10.6.8, performs like a champ and loves the Internet. One of these years I suppose, it will give up the ghost, BUT, until then, I keep on using it.
I wonder, should I prepare myself for the eventual funeral? Will I be able to transfer all my data? Is there a market for these good old boys?
