Just picked up a 32GB for $299. I gotta say, initial impression is that I'm liking it more than the Air and Air 2, and it is a great companion device to my 6 Plus. I had it in my mind that the 6 Plus was a replacement for the Mini, but it isn't. The Mini is more enjoyable than the 6 Plus in web browsing, watching videos, reading books, and playing games.

It's a solid little tablet, and with the only upgrade on the Mini 3 being TouchID I'm fully content saving a couple hundred dollars and getting the Mini 2.

Love my mini 2 as well, I've had it for over a year now! Interesting to finally see some people who don't think the 6+ is a replacement for the mini.

I have the 6+ and rMini too. Had the rMini for over a year and tried the air 2 and went right back to it. The form factor is perfect for me and my casual uses.

The non SJ approved, "odd ball" devices if you will. 6 and air sell better.

It doesn't impact me in any way though I prefer the phablet and tiny tab.
