General tweak to speed up gameplay

Are there any tweaks/hacks available in cydia that will allow someone to speed up gameplay? I've found 2 so far, but neither seem to work. I'm looking for an app that will literally accelerate gameplay so that the characters appear to be moving really fast...

I've tried SpeedFree, but nothing ever appears in the "app list" after i launch the proigram.

I've also tried SpeedManager 1.2, but the app crashes instantly as soon as you load it.

I'm on iOS 8.1.x


Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated.
