Why would you want it activated?

Thats invading someones privacy... Luckily I do not have a samsung smart TV. Although I would love to have one!! Actually this tv might be good to have in some big companies and the white house!

Certain Samsung Smart TVs with voice activation can listen to your conversations in your living room or other rooms. It can be deactivated by turning off voice activation.

Or you can just speak in code.

You probably should be doing that anyway.

They can hear you.

I just bought two Samsung tvs. A 55' 4k and a 60' 1080p. They both looked nice except if you were more than 5 degrees off center then the color would wash out. I had to return them both, the 60' had the voice tech.

I got the 55' LG OLED instead. Picture is unparalleled.
