Kindle App not showing images in PDFs

I use the Kindle App to store a lot of PDFs for future use. I noticed that in a couple of them, the images inside of the PDFs aren't showing up. For example, the manual for my vehicle, it has everything including small images, but the large pictures are all gone. They show up in the PDF when looking at it on my computer.

Any ideas?
