Question about insurance thru ATT (Asurion)?

I was wondering how this insurance was in comparison to lets say Apple Care Plus. I know Apple Care Plus doesn't cover loss or theft.

Asurion on an iPhone 6 Plus is like $6.99/month and it would be $199 for a replacement if the screen was busted.

Apple Care Plus is $99 (one time) and $50 deductible for busted screen.

I'm not sure the Asurion is that great of a deal, especially if I'm not prone to losing my phones.

What do you guys think?

Insurance is like gambling. Sometimes you win but the odds are way on the side of the insurer.

I do not believe in it as if I loose my phone or it is broken, I can afford to replace it. The money I have saved NOT buying insurance would, with ease, replace my devices I have now and I would still be way ahead.

If you are the type person who drops their phone alot, then I would not be without it. If I did buy it would be Apple's insurance.
