Hey guys,
I have an ipad 2 (Wifi+GSM) running ios 7.0 and is jailbroken using evasion.
Its been a long time since i upgraded my ios, so i thought i would give ios 8 a try now! But looks like the recent release, 8.1.3 doesnt have a jailbreak, only 8.1.2 has. Apple has also unfortunately stopped signing 8.1.2.

So My question is, can i upgrade my ipad from ios 7 to ios 8.1.2 by downloading the firmware for my device, or is it not possible because, apple has stopped signing it?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I'd rather be on IOS 7 too if I were using an iPad 2

I'd rather be on 7.1 for all devices though, including my rMini which I sorta regret upgrading. The only benefit to me is sms handoff at the expense of bugs and performance. Not enough to throw my iPad at the wall but not buttery smooth like it once was

I'm excited for the next round of 7.1 calibre and staying put next time!
