Hi

I have iMac from 2011, and suddenly the keyboard and mouse is not working. It seems be all my USB port is not working. Are there anything i can do?

Try unplugging everything from your iMac for 5 minutes. Then just plug in the power cable and the mouse and keyboard. Press the power button and then immediately hold down the option, command, P and R keys until you hear the second chime and then release the keys.

Hopefully your iMac will start up and the mouse and keyboard will function.

Thanks for your reply.

But didn't help. I have insert a linux boot up disc, but i am not able get the disc out.

Any suggestion to get the disc out?

If you've fried your onboard USB, then a possible workaround is to get a Thunderbolt Dock (from OWC or Caldigit seem to be the most popular) and use the USB3 ports on the Dock to connect your keyboard and mouse...
