Yeah, it was against the forum policy to make a thread ourselves. (Sorry mods!) We're only allowed to answer questions regarding our products, but no self-promotions.

There's only one sensor above the speaker cutout and it's the ambient light sensor.
The other cutout to the left is for the camera.
But why do the the screen protectors from other companies e.g. Benks have 2 cut outs right above the speaker, apart from the camera cut out?

And if you scroll down here to the last picture from iFixit (https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPhone+6+Front+Facing+Camera+and+Sensor+Cable+Replacement/31672), I think one can as well see a second sensor above the speaker. Look closely.

Wouldn't the 2-hole design cripple the proximity sensor?
No, it would not. We tested the 1-hole design very extensively and had no issues with it at all.
Well, I don't know which sensor is which of the 2 above the speaker/receiver.
When I make a phone call and I cover the sensor which is in the center above the speaker/receiver, the display goes black (as if you are taking a call). But I dont't know which sensor is responsible for that (meaning I don't know if the proximity or the ambient light sensor triggers this). If the one in the center, which you can clearly see is the proximity sensor and the one on its left (phone display facing you) is the ambient light sensor, then the ambient light sensor cannot work, as it cannot work through metal etc.

according to this link, the hole in the center above the speaker/receiver should be the proximity sensor. This one triggers to shut off the touchscreen/display when making a phone call and holding the phone close. Ergo, the other sensor on the left above the speaker/receiver should be the ambient light sensor. With the iloome screen protector the ambient light sensor would then always think it is dark.
I tested it myself and you can too:
Sit in a room which has only indirect light and is not too bright (sun etc.)
All you need is a flashlight and a thick piece of black paper.
1. Go to Settings>Display & Brightness> Turn off Auto-Brightness
2. Set your brightness to maximum (more or less)
3. Now put a piece if black paper on top of the phone (the space above the speaker/receiver and the space left from the visible centered proximity sensor)
4. Your phone thinks now, that it is dark.
5. Turn on Auto-Brightness => Your Brightness will now go to 50% or less.
6. Take a flash light and hold it really close above the phone (where the speaker/receiver is). I took a Cree XML-T6 (with 3xAAA).
7. As long as your ambient light sensor is covered, nothing will happen, but keep the flashlight on and remove the black paper => Your brightness will now go up more and more (as Auto Brighness is on).
I doubt that you will have the same effect with the new iLoome display protector, as the metal is clearly covering the ambien light sensor.
EDIT 2 => ok iLoome will change it, so that all sensors work

What is the edge made out of? Painted glass or is there glass in the center with a frame attached?
I have tried a "titanium" framed glass that fit well, but there were issues with glass edge adherence. Nice idea to keep the glass off the edges, as this is where the chipping/cracking typically occurs first.
Are you using Gorilla Glass?

. Let's call it 4-hole all in Edges are made out of proprietary xAl-4Cr Alloy, meaning it's not glass. The frame will NOT chip or crack, because it's not glass! Glass is in the center with the frame attached.
As for tempered glass, we used a premium quality soda-lime. We have detailed specification for its ability to withstand 18% more stress then any other brands.
I'm pretty sure this was iloome but what happened to that curved glass screen shield you guys posted awhile back any progress on that?
We're getting another prototype this week. We are making progress little by little.
Anyone know specifically which cases these things work with? Other than the iloome branded ones?
The Max looks cheap because of the colored bezel on top of the glass. All transparent glass is better and more elegant. I hope you still continue the previous prototype

Why is the image on your webpage different from the actual product? It is misleading. The advertised pictures have two hole on top.
