I am trying to recover an address book after a hard drive failure.
The hard drive data was recovered onto a usb drive and the OS has been rebuilt.
I have the address book files from the old OS which are in Library>Application Support>Address book but when i copy over the v22.abcddb file (as have read in other posts) it renames it as a .corrupt file and there is nothing in the address book.
Am i doing this incorrectly or can anyone help - i'm afraid i'm not a regular Mac user and trying to help out a colleague!
