Local Craigslist sale. 2012 MBA 13", 8gb, 128SSD mint condition with Applecare till 9/2105 and battery count of 170 cycles. Battery age is only a year, so it was obviously replaced by Apple.
$600 a good deal?

I just paid $720 for brand new 11.
I would go for it. That is a pretty decent price.
for the price yes but 2012's battery life sucksLocal Craigslist sale. 2012 MBA 13", 8gb, 128SSD mint condition with Applecare till 9/2105 and battery count of 170 cycles. Battery age is only a year, so it was obviously replaced by Apple.

You ll get twice more battery life with mid-2013
I think you can find a better deal if you look...and ask for price flexibility. I just bought a mid-2013 MBA for $600.
How much RAM, what size screen, and does it still have a warranty with Applecare? These are factors that determine value. " mid-2013 MBA for $600" tells me nothing.

128gb & no AppleCare. It's a 13.3" model. Maybe that wasn't a good deal to you...but it sure made me happy. Got it from a local Craigslist seller. He wanted $750...but was willing to negotiate since it had been listed for over a month.
Nice!
Please don't think I'm slamming your deal. You're deal sounds good if you're satisfied. I'm in sales...have been for 30+ years, and I've come to realize...there is no such thing as the Easter Bunny, and "The Best Deal". The Best Deal is the deal you feel good about. The deal Airboy1466 got was much better than mine...and maybe I could have negotiated more on mine, I don't know. The bottom line is...I'm happy with the deal I got so that's cool.
Do some due diligence in shopping, don't be afraid to ask the seller if he/she is flexible on price...and buy what your heart says is right.

Good advice. My seller wanted $800, I offered $600 and he agreed. Considering this originally sold for $1300, I think I did pretty well. And it is in MINT condition with a new-ish battery.
I just sold my 2011 13" MBA i7 4GB 256GB for $500.
you are generous my friend lol
