I recently purchased a battery pack while on vacation in China.
When checking in on AirChina they claim "capacity of the lithium ion battery shall not exceed 100 watt-hours" (http://www.airchina.com/gr/en/trave...on/baggage_information/baggage_checked5.shtml).
This extra battery comes in 10400 mAh. I assume it's well below the limit, but I would still like to know the exact number just in case.

Does anyone know how I convert this mAh to Wh?
Googling says I should multiple with the voltage which I don't know (iPhone 5, 6 and iPad mini retina if it matters)

If I remember ..

USB is 5V
If your allowed to have 100Wh then:
mAh = Wh × 1000 / V
____
100Wh x 1000 / 5V = 20,000mAh
____

Since you're below the 20,000mAh for a USB charger you should be fine.
