I think it's going to be pretty lame if it STILL looks like an iPhone 5. Time to ditch the tired chamfered edge and make both iPads look like the iPhone 6.

I always hated the chamfer. It wasn't minimal enough for me like the iPad 2, 3 and 4. :cool:

It looks the same as the current Mini.

If you really think about it, the iPad isn't held like an iPhone. It doesn't need to be shaped like one.

Correct, but the iPhone 5 is fine with chamfered edges. They didn't need to change it for the iPhone 6.

I think they justified the new shape by saying it makes holding a larger device feel like it's not as big as it looks.

An iPad isn't going to be held one-handed like an iPhone, so the design doesn't need to be the same.

The new iPhone 6 design language is ugly. The 5/5S looks far nicer than the 6 does.

I like the chamfered edges, glad they're keeping them.
