So. By simply deleting 350 song genre tags in itunes I apparently used up 250 MB of ipod space upon sync. One would think i would gain space. Any thoughts?

I would think you would gain [almost no] some space. I have NO idea how this could have happened. Were you filtering what went on by genre and then did it change that filter by deleting the tags, maybe?

No filtering. It simply auto synk the entire library. Try, if you would, erasing a good numer of genres and sync it back to your ipod.

Thanks for the response.
