I have a 2009 Macbook I purchased used.
Seller stated no display.
Once I received unit at first power up I had display for about an hour.
After that backlight went out.
I have put the computer in a fridge for few hours and after that I had backlight for a few minutes then it went out again.
I have since replaced the inverter, and no backlight.
Replaced the inverter cable and upon power up I got backlight to about the chimes, after that no back light.
Any ideas?
I have reset smc and nvram.
When I reset nvram I got the backlight to work until the Apple logo showed up, and then the backlight went out.
Is the main board defective or possibly the screen is somehow bad?
