Unless I'm mistaken that installer is for the whole of Yosemite (the 10.10 update and not a 10.10.x update), and based on the appearance of your user interface, you're already running Yosemite...

Could you please go to "About This Mac" via the Apple menu on the top left and report what version is listed under the headline? If it's 10.10.3, you're already on the latest version and therefore can't update (save perhaps for the 10.10.3 Supplemental Update released a few days ago).

Need to Update, Not Updating

I am running on 10.10.2 and my computer says it has several updates needed. However, when I press "Update All" or individually press each "Update" nothing happens. It says it needs to update, download and restart, shows that it is installing and then quickly stops and shows the updates as still need to be updated. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem?

This seems to be a

problem with installtion software.

Try going into disk utility and repairing disk permissions then give it another go.

Hi I did "Verify Disk Permissions", "Repair Disk Permissions" and "Verify Disk" and then restarted the computer. Any further ideas?

- Remove all your login items in System Preferences (under Users & Groups), keeping a note of which you have so you can add them again, and reboot without opening apps on start-up (uncheck in the reboot dialog box). Try again.
