I'm having a strange problem that I just noticed, so I assume it's an iOS 8 issue. If I open an iMessage conversation and scroll up to the top (where it shows the oldest message without loading more), the last few messages are showing up as texts (green bubbles), even though these conversations were all originally iMessages.

At that point, if I try to scroll further to load older messages, it acts like it's loading but then kicks me back down to the recent messages without loading more. What's even stranger is... if the conversation was with someone using TEXTS ONLY, I can load old messages just fine.

It seems that JUST iMessage conversations cannot load more messages now (and the oldest visible message have mysteriously converted to texts).

What's going on???
