Using this app solely to watch replays of Formula 1. I find that air playing the app from my iPhone 6 to my Apple TV results in smoother video vs airplaying from the same website from my 2014 MBA. I thought the more powerful laptop would be "better". Air played video from MBA looks like it is occasionally dropping frames. The website's video thru MBA has more stuff going on (ads above video, crawls below video, etc). The phone app is just the video. Do you believe that is way it is better? I'm using 5ghz band from tp-link C8. Apple TV is N-wifi. Both phone and MBA are AC.
