..it has been left unused for some time. This has however only happened twice so far and doesn't always happen. Macbook will power on, chime but backlight will not come up. I recently replaced it since the previous one kept shutting down after some time, after replacing it that doesn't happen no longer, but there is still something strange.
First time this happened it immediately booted after resetting the power management. This time I just power off and on again, third boot was successful, although I didn't wait very long during those two attempts.
Both times I tried to power on with only battery, I will have to test further of course.
For a long time I think this machine takes strangely long time in the white screen when it's powered on, but it has always continued booting after some thinking.
