P.S. This does NOT work for non-Mac Mini computers. I know the OP says it might but I think he's wrong due to the reasons discussed at length.

Intel drivers are now available that work with the Mac mini. However, your monitor must use a VGA not DVI connection. Check superscript 5 on the xponmac wiki.

There is a post on the XP contest forum site where they got dell drivers to work on the mini using dvi.
