After an incredible recommendation, and an eye-opening demo, I have decided to purchase a pair of these.
I've read good reviews and find the price very reasonable for my interests, but if anyone can recommend a good pair with 5.1, the mic doesn't matter, for $200 or less, I'd be interested. Music and gaming is where it'll matter most.

Now, my question is about the inputs for the headphones. The amp takes in three lines of front, back, and sub/center for the surround sound. My powerbook, G4 latest model, has optical surround out. Is there a way to connect these, to reconcile their menial differences? Where could I find some type of converter between the two? Or is this not an option, or a bad idea?

There is also a usb based model, but I'd rather avoid that if I can.

Any help here would be much a appreciated. Seriously. Really.
