Hey all,

I was browsing the http://www.macwindows.com site and was reading a section on VPC 7 optimization for PPC macs of course. Apparently there is an optimization tool that will get you speeds of up to 1.5GHZ windows emulation. Has anyone tried it or heard of it? I don't have VPC. Maybe if anyone wants to try? Here's the link...

Yes I know WinXP SP2 is running on an Intel Mac, but this is for those that have PPC macs and there are still some that like to run Win within Mac OS X.

Also, what are the speeds for Win Xp install using Q on a PPC?

I think the claim is misleading. Those settings appear to be just to turn off visual candies. Admittedly, video performance is one of the bottlenecks of VPC, so those settings will most likely make your VPC experience feel more "snappy". But once you engage in some CPU-intensive tasks, those settings won't help at all.
