Finally got tired of looking at the scratches and paint chips on my powerbook. So i called apple today and after a bit of fussing and the final realization that i was an education customer they decided to repair my powerbook even though it was about a month over it's warranty. Gotta love the jolly folks at apple. Now hopefully it is a fast turn around.
