I just picked up a 64GB iPod Touch for jogging.

I'm adding music in manual mode. Half my collection is in my iTunes library, and I have other music in a local folder but not in my iTunes library. All my files have artwork embedded in the file, I don't use iTunes to search for artwork at all.

Any music I have dragged to the iPod Touch from the local folders have worked fine, music adds with art and displays correctly on the iPod Touch. Any music I drag to the iPod Touch from my iTunes music library adds fine, but the art doesn't show in the iPod Touch.

If I plug the iPod Touch and play music from the device itself in iTunes, all the files show artwork (still nothing on the iPod Touch screen, but iTunes detects the art).

Any idea how to fix this? I thought I'd be past issues like this since I embed the artwork in the file now. I don't understand how the iPod Touch can't see it.

Thanks.
