I have installed VMware Fusion 7.1 on my MacBook Air with OS Yosemite 10.10.3.
I have installed Windows XP under VMware.

My XP desktop has a few shortcuts for folders and programs.

The problem is that these shortcut icons "leak" through VMware and appear on my Mac OS desktop. This did not happen with VMware Fusion 2.x

Removing the links from the Mac desktop also removes them from the Windows desktop, and the other way around.

How can I have the icons under Windows without them leaking through to the Mac desktop??

Thanks
