My local Apple store had the new Macbook Pro in stock so my amazing wife snagged the new model for me. Here are the CINEBENCH R15 results.

Can you run at 1920 and 2880 resolutions and post those results? Interesting to see its not that much better than 650M at 1680 x 1050.

Interesting, so are we saying the new ATI card is basically on par with a Nvidia 750m?

As someone currently on an early 2012 rMBP with a 650m I'm severely underwhelmed if these tests say what I think they say.

I don't think these tests say much. Apple is quoting 50-80% improvements, so there is no way these cards are on par. The 370 will likely be more on par with the 950m.

The Cinebench testing is only accurate at differentiating between CPU's. The GPU test is not representative and not accurate enough. Even the developers have said this as it relies too much on vendor driver optimisations.

For testing the GPU use a proper GPU benchmark or even better do some real life testing on it, play some games :)

Thanks for the benchmarks! I am contemplating on whether I should pull the trigger and upgrade from my 13" C2D Macbook Pro from 2010.

Maybe you could run some Unigine benchmarks at default presets? If possible, under Windows? As mentioned before, Cinebench is a quite useless benchmark and I don't really have the idea about the computebench results as well. Too many unclear variables.

Please can you run Xbench. it an old benchmark, but it would be nice to have some metric on how the UI speed compares.

GPU-Z report please. Especially with core count, and memory bus, please.

Cinebench is also an old GPU benchmark. People should use more modern (i.e. real world) benchmarks.

Sorry, I don't have a windows license and have no desire to get one. If there is a free / open source benchmark tool you want me to run (OSX) that is relevant, I'll give it a go.

Keep in mind, I don't actually care about benchmarks and would have kept the machine regardless of score. So, this isn't something I plan to spend all day doing. I assumed there would be other, more accurate tests out by now.

Try using Unigine for OS X and also CompuBench (free Mac App Store app).
