Photos app and duplicates

Hi guys,

I'm importing photos from my Nexus 5 Android phone to Photos app.

But problem is that I have 700+ photos that already are on my Photos app (and on my iPhotos app) that are showing as being new. Obviously I do not want to re-import these as I'd then have duplicates.

I've tried everything to find a resolution to this - even tried via Image Capture - but no luck at all. I really do not want to go and delete all the duplicates. That would take days and days.

Any help is welcome.
