Does anyone think $600 for the following is a far price?:

-12" iBook
-G3 processor 800 mHz
-256 mb RAM
-CD-R burner / DVD-player
-original box + reinstall CDs
-Apple optical mouse + Apple keyboard included
-original owner / well-kept

I'm trying to offload it, since I have a G5, plus a Powerbook.

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I think that you're way off base with that asking price. The G3 is 3 generations old by now (G4 --> G5 --> Core).

I would say a fair price would be $350 if it's in perfect condition.

im really interested in buying an old g3 because basically i cant afford anything newer. i have a mac mini which i bought in october, and i can honestly say its one of the best things ive ever bought. i dont see me using windows unless needed.

but anyway, id be really interested in your ibook. id pay around $400 for it. but there is one small problem, i live in the uk. what do u think? get back to me please

That is way too high. I recently purchased a used iBook G3 800 mhz cd-rw/dvd with 386 mb of ram, all original discs, 90 day warranty for $350. $350-$400 is the highest you can realistically expect with a computer that old.
