Using 15" RAM on a 12"?

I'm assuming the answer to this is "absoultely not" given that the 12" uses PC2100 RAM, but is it possible to use old RAM from a 15" TiBook on a new 12" AlBook? Thanks.

yes, your assumption was correct. They use completely different types of memory. On the BYO page of the powerbook it shows ~$150 for 512mb of ram, which sounds like a good deal. I'm not sure if you can buy it after the fact (considering there is already a 128MB chip there that gets "traded in" when buying the 512 from apple)
 
Yeah, thanks, in fact I already ordered it with 640MB, I was just curious if I had made a mistake. 🙂
