I'll be attending college in the fall, and will be bringing my PB with me. The trouble is, their wireless network is weak and is only available around their admin building, which is around 200 ft (open air) from the men's dorm. I can't get a signal from the dorm.

What I want to do is use some type of directional antenna (cantenna, perhaps?) to pick up the signal from their admin building, then redistribute it with a "dorm router." How would I do this?

I'd prefer not to involve the "admin router", just the stuff I control. The "admin router" is a Linksys WRT54G, based on its setup page.
