Custom Poof folder..

What is the importance of the "Custom poofs" folder in the application folder. which contains a .png of the default poof used when removing an app from the dock. Do i need to keep this folder in my application folder, since i really don't feel like keeping it there.

Do i even need this folder at all.

I think that it came bundled with the OS but if i am wrong, it might have been something i dowloaded.

Thanks,
AAA

I don't have a "Custom Poofs" folder in my Applications folder, so it's probably not anything you need. Move it to the desktop, drag something off the dock, and if it works fine, then I'm sure you can just delete it.

Maybe someone here knows better.

Yeah any themes, hacks, or software like onYx or one of those tweakers could've done it.

I believe that has to do with TransparentDock. You can customize the poof when you drag items out of the dock. That's where you put your custom ones.
