macOS Compiling in J2ME

I am having difficulty compiling an app for use on a cell phone. I downloaded the MIDP 1.0.3 port from mpowers.net, but I dont know what directory to put it in.

I tried to compile a simple java app using:
javac -g:none -bootclasspath %MIDPClasses% World.java

but I get this error:
Fatal Error: Unable to find package java.lang in classpath or bootclasspath

Im using BlueJ (haha) and using a simple program as described in Java 2 Micro Edition by Manning Publishing.
