Hello,

For a long while, it seems that versions of the AIM client do not allow me to let the display go to sleep on a timer. It does allow regular sleep to take hold after a delay. Is there a solution to this, or a work around? (Like a way to force display sleep, etc.) Everyone other program misses one feature or another. Can anyone help?

I have never had that problem and I leave AIM open all the time. You may try leaving another app as the front app with AIM in the background or even hidden.
