Can't Disable certain sharing services

I cant disable widnows file sharing, remote desktop, ftp access, and remote apple events

running the latest version of tiger. i am the admin, the lock on the bottom left corner is "unlocked" position.

i am totally stumped

You have to turn off the firewall to change any of those. 😉

firewall is already off, and it goes the other way, you can only turn off firewall or turn it on if the service it is linked with is on or off
