How to view and/or convert .flv files?

Anyone know what a good .flv viewer is for the Mac? I've tried VLC, but I'm getting an error message. I've tried Quicktime, and WMV player. No luck. Thanks in advanced for all suggestions! Cheers!
 
Odd, VLC should play them just fine, you might get some error messages, but it should work fine except for fast-forwarding etc.
