That is the exact same cost of the 1.83Ghz MacBook...And the MacBook is faster.

in his defence this has a superdrive,1.25GB RAM, an 80 GB HD, and non-shared VRAM. an equivilent macbook would be about $1450($1300 (base w/ superdrive) + $100(for 1 GB RAM) + $50(+20GB HD))

Yes, I think that is true. But a PowerBook at this price is a steal. Ok, Maybe $950CAD would be good. Note his location, he may be selling from a country where prices are lower.

This did NOT sell on eBay, so I'm going to make one final offer, keep in mind with the price of a refurb PowerBook on the Apple Online Store being $1199 + tax + shipping, my PB is a great deal seeing as it has a RAM upgrade and an iSight included all in like new condition! PLUS extended Applecare for about 825 more days!

For $1100 you'll get the PowerBook (Airport Extreme, Bluetooth, Superdrive, etc), free shipping + $1200 worth of shipping insurance (so if it gets damaged on the way you make $100 back of what you paid), and I'll include the iSight in the below photo.

Everything pictured comes with ORIGINAL PACKAGING, MANUALS, DISCS, etc.

This is pretty much a MacBook but in PPC form.
