I just installed the drivers. It does indeed work... however, it's far from perfect. Scrolling is very unstable and very fast. I realize the drivers are in its early stages, so I'll keep an eye on any updates that are released.

I've been using this for about 2 years and it works great.

Go to system preferences > iScroll2 and then set the scroll resolution for speed control. It was one of the first apps I downloaded for my 12" PB. Love it

I really, really, really, wish that he would make another version of this that would work on my 12" 1.33Ghz iBook G4 (even though it already has scrolling) just to enable the two finger right click like the MacBooks have...it seems he could easily do it, but he hasn't answered any of my e-mails about it.

EDIT: Does he know that the new iBook's have trackpad scrolling? All the descriptions say "all G4 iBooks" but it will not install on the ones that alreayd have trackpad scrolling (the 14" 1.42Ghz and 12" 1.33Ghz).

I don't think the website has actually been updated since before that iBook generation came out.

Just wanted to add my usual plug, FWIW... Sidetrack by Raging Menace works on both most pre-scrolling Apple notebooks and the notebooks with the new scrolling trackpads, including Intel-based models, in case anyone wants an alternate scrolling interface.

But iScroll does seem very nice as well.

Any update for Leopard?

I'm running Leopard on my 1.33 12" PB! It works great except for the fact that I don't have two fingered scrolling! Is this modification updated and out there anywhere?

I too wish there was an update for Leopard. A thread on Apple Discussions suggests there is a solution, but it didn't work for me.
