For some reason, High Priority doesn't show in my menu bar anymore.
Checkmarking 'Show HP in menu bar' doesn't do anything; closing and
opening the prefpane shows that that checkbox is unchecked again. This happened immediately after HP froze and I had to restart my computer.

Any ideas? 🙁

Shut HP and drag it's preference (.plist) file to the desktop or trash (from Users > youraccount > Library > Preferences), then start HP (which will then make itself a new, clean plist file).

or, the old favourite:
try repairing permissions

I tried that already. Both. Doesn't work.
