I have the Airport Extreme base with 2 b cards, one on my mac and one on the pc.
how fast do you think it will go? the base is around 1 meter away from the computers. |

I have an AE base station and 2 PCs connected to it. One is a laptop with a d-link 11b-card and the other is connected by wire.
I have a stable transfer rate of about 5000 kbps pretty much independent of the distance from the airport station; at least, until the station goes down to 5.5 or 2 mbps. hope this helps / filipp |

Let me know how fast it is because I will be running the exact same setup. Also, if you could give me some idea of the range, then that would be a huge help before I make the purchase. I want to stick with Apple, but if another router has better range, then I might consider straying. Thanks.
