Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter --> +DVI to VGA Adapter

I was wondering that if I bought the Mini-DVI to DVI adapter, if I could use one of those cheap DVI to VGA adapters that come with most video cards. I have one of those so then I wouldn't have to buy both Mini-DVI adapters.

Why not just buy a mini-DVI to VGA adapter?

Cause right now I'm not using DVI but in about 3 months I'm will be using DVI. Right now I'm using VGA.

I don't really want to buy both adapters.

Buy it anyway... you will need it if you're going to get a DVI monitor. Why not buy it and try it, and then get the VGA one if it doesn't work?

Those adapters wont work with it. Iv'e tried.

Buy the VGA if it's what you need, its only about $16 🙂
