ok, so my friend sent me some picutres, and i copied them, so is there an application somehow similar to Paint in Windows XP? in which i can save the file.😕

Assuming you find PosterPaint (see my sig) too raw and underdeveloped at this stage I suggest SeaShore.

i meant by uploading by saving the file and going to a website like( lets say myspace or flickr) and upload a picture 🙂robbieduncan said:
If your just trying to convert it to a different format Preview will do the job. It's in your Applications folder.
