There is almost a thread a week about This new version of that browser being "fast" and didnt like that browser as I found it so "slow".

How much of this is actually objective and basically this is highly subjective.😎

What people seem to mean by speed is how fast it renders the images on the page. However some do this progressively others display the page in one go. Some therefore are fine with a fast broadband connection but others suit a dial up connection better.

Then there is the further complication of how it handles java and flash content.

And of course your favourite site my suite your favourite browser but not somebody elses. Also how well it reads from its cache and how much it likes its cache cleared out.

What I use as a Test is the ITV Formula one website as it must be full of everything that can be possible to slow a site down, try it😉 (clearing cache each time)

Basically what I have found is that there are little difference between them all (except Mac old Internet Explorer 🙁 now the latest PC version of Internet Explorer thats a different matter 😛 )

From my "subjective" point of view 🙄 I find Safari and the Mozilla browsers quicker than Opera and Shirra😱
